Gembira Loka Zoo







Gembira Loka Zoo is a zoo in Yogyakarta.
Loka means the place, Gembira means haapy. Finally, nearly half a century ago, Sri Sultan Hamengkubuwono IX manifest desire to develop his predecessors ‘Bonraja’ kelangenan wildlife preserve where the king became a public garden animals.
